Golden in colour, with just-baked crispness, Ditty's Oatcakes are handmade with soft oats from County Armagh and include organic buttermilk, a rich by-product of butter making which lends a distinctive flavour to Northern Irish baking.
Ditty's is a thriving third generation bakery specialising in traditional Irish breads as well as sweet and savoury biscuits.
Robert Ditty’s father a master baker, first launched in 1963 when he first purchased the bakery premises. Having spent many holidays and summers working in the bakery, it’s fair to say that Robert Ditty had baking in his blood and so it only seemed natural to take over the business in the 1980s when his father passed away.
Ditty’s is committed to using local ingredients in their products wherever possible and take pride in supporting artisan producers including traditional smoke houses, organic dairies and local farmers.
