Ruairidh Morrison and Melanie Brown first set up their smokehouse business on the north coast of Ireland when they returned home to the northern hemisphere from New Zealand with their two young twins. Ruairidh had always had a notion in the back of his mind that he’d like to have a business smoking salmon—a lingering legacy from his time spent managing Salmon farms in both Scotland and New Zealand.

Ruariridh and Melanie take pride in adding something a little bit special to the already spectacular Causeway Coast and Glens of Antrim region with their range of delicious smoke-roasted organic salmon and cold-smoked sea salt, black pepper and dulse flakes.

 All North Coast Smokehouse goods are handcrafted and produced in small batches, with their aromatic smoke being produced the old fashioned way by simply burning small quantities of wood and nothing else added other than a little sprinkle of precious time and a dash of fresh sea air.
