Suki Tea, was set up in 2005 by business partners Oscar Wooley and Anne Rooney. Both had developed a real passion for good tea having travelled through Asia independently and so partnering to set up an artisan tea business seemed the natural thing to do.
When they first set up Suki Tea, both Oscar and Anne had full-time jobs but spent their evenings bagging up their beautiful blends in preparation for trading at Belfast’s acclaimed St George’s market each weekend. Determined to provide customers with only the finest, ethically-sourced loose leaf teas, herbal infusions and fruit blends, the great-tea loving duo, concentrated their efforts on creating teas that delivered on quality, freshness and flavour. 10 years later Suki Tea is now a multi-award winning artisan tea champion, having gained an incredibly impressive 27 Great Taste Awards and are now exporting their teas worldwide to countries including Japan, the Netherlands, Belgium, Poland, Rwanda and Kenya.
